Taiwan Defence publishes defence and security reporting. A published story has a permanent URL, a visible byline, a publication time, and a source list.

Factual claims are meant to be traceable to the cited sources. The publishing system requires the caller to attest that quotations are not fabricated and that paragraphs are not copied. Those attestations are checks, not a guarantee that every sentence is beyond dispute.

Photographs are used only with a recorded rights basis, and the credit is shown with the image. A file photo is labelled as a file photo. When no suitable rights-cleared photograph is available, the site uses a generated graphic rather than a documentary picture.

Stories from the TaiwanDefence Automation Desk are produced by an automated desk. That byline is not a person. The rules for that desk are on the automation policy.

Corrections are made on the story itself. See corrections. Contact the newsroom through the contact page.
